I cannot help but want her to receive something from me often. She lives three states away. I want to be a constant in her life because I only see her about a few times per year. Last year I was in town for her birthday and so I did not celebrate Christmas with my kids as I did not want them to OD on the mother-in-law visits….I would love some input from other grandparents about how they participate with their kids and grandkids.
What I do is find things that she will like, and then occasionally send a box with holiday-centric goodies like Valentines, Easter, summer-time, back to school……….. How do you do it?
